The first large-scale ALMA FEST festival was held in Almaty, which became the sporting event of the year
In Almaty, the first ALMA FEST artistic gymnastics festival was held successfully, marking the largest event in the history of artistic gymnastics. The festival brought together gymnasts and spectators from seven countries—UAE, Italy, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan—emphasizing the international significance and prestige of this sport.
The festival featured the international ALMA CUP tournament, showcasing a high level of performance and intense competition. Gymnasts, meticulously prepared on an international scale, competed fiercely for the title of best, making the tournament particularly exciting and spectacular. Each participant received valuable gifts and deserved medals, and the winners were ceremoniously honored for their achievements.
Sofia Mammadova from Azerbaijan was crowned the queen of ALMA FEST. Her graceful performance left a lasting impression and became a symbol of beauty and passion in artistic gymnastics.
The festival offered a comprehensive program of masterclasses and seminars aimed at the development of both gymnasts and their parents:
- Choreography Masterclass: Gymnasts learned key choreography elements to create expressive and memorable performances.
- Acting Masterclass: Participants developed stage presence and emotional expressiveness, crucial for successful performances.
- Sports Psychology and Nutrition Seminar: Experts shared insights on sports psychology and proper nutrition to help achieve better results in gymnastics.
- Qaz NADO Anti-Doping Seminar for Parents: Topics covered included anti-doping control and the role of parents in maintaining the integrity of the sport.
- Body Practice and Stress Management Training for Young Gymnasts: Participants explored methods for managing stress and enhancing resilience in challenging situations.
Additionally, participants and their families took part in engaging activities, with medals and prizes awarded to winners, making the event even more vibrant and memorable.
This festival was not only a significant sporting event but also a true celebration for everyone who values the art of artistic gymnastics.
